Color Our World Summer Kickoff: Art
We’re kicking off the beginning of summer reading by seeing how art colors our world! Contribute to a collaborative art project and make friendship bracelets. We will also have a weeklong color-themed Scavenger Hunt. Program geared for school age students. Program is part of the Color Our World Summer Reading Programming.
Color Our World Read & Rhyme Storytime (Ages 3 – 5 with Caregiver)
Enjoy stories and songs with your preschooler while they learn early literacy skills. Program is part of the Color Our World Summer Reading Programming.
Finger Painting (Registration Required / Ages 14 – 17)
Relax and have fun with finger paints! Registration Required. Call 850-522-2118 or visit the Youth Services Department to register. Program is part of the "Color Our World" Summer Reading Programming.
Sea Needles
Join us and make new friends as you work on your own sewing, knitting or crochet project. Stop by our display case to see some of the beautiful finished projects.
Color Our World – Paper Mâché Extravaganza
Work on your Paper Mâché creation at tables outside of the library entrance. We will be in the grassy area outside Youth Services in the front of the building. Dress for the mess! Geared for adults. Program is part of the Summer Reading Color Our World Programming.
Wewahitchka’s 150th Celebration
Join us for a FREE family event to celebrate Wewahitchka’s 150th birthday and Gulf County’s 100th. There will be food vendors, arts & craft vendors, live music, historical speakers, photo exhibits, artifacts, demonstrations, classic car show, pioneer settler’s costume contest, and much more!
