English for Speakers of Other Languages Classes:
We offer free classes for learning and practicing English skills for daily life, work, and citizenship in our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes. Please contact the library for more information at 850-229-8879.

English-Spanish Conversation Circle:
Join our free Conversation circles to practice with others learning to speak English and Spanish. Group size is limited to 12. Please contact the library for more information at 850-229-8879.

 

Literacy Tutors:
The Literacy Department includes both staff and volunteer tutors who provide one-on-one and small group tutoring for anyone age 18 or older who wants to learn or improve his/her English-speaking skills, English reading or writing skills, or who is studying for the GED exam or U.S. Citizenship test. The program is free of charge and students can join the program at any time as long as tutors are available. If you are interested in being a tutor, fill out the Volunteer Interest Form. This is the first step of becoming a volunteer with the Northwest Regional Library System.
