Butterflies Across Borders! Symbolic Monarch Migration

Drop by the STEAMroom to become an international conservation ambassador!  Millions of monarch butterflies are preparing for their journey to Mexico, and we are joining them, at least symbolically!  Learn about the science of monarch migration and craft your own life-sized paper “ambassador butterflies.”  Our creations will be mailed to schools near the Mexican monarch sanctuaries for the winter.  In the spring, we will receive paper butterflies back from friends across North America!
