Learn all about Mark Douglas, Jr.‘s NEWEST book in the Maddie Jones Mystery Series, Grave of Robin Hood (Book 2), his writing process and how his love of history influences
the plot! Both titles from the Maddie Jones Mystery series will available for purchase and book signing. Program is free and open to the public.

A secret treasure buried inside Robin Hood’s grave…
Maddie Jones accidentally blew up her dad’s museum. Now the place is going to close its doors. Forever. Sifting through the ashes, Maddie finds a mysterious iron box with a map inside dating to the fourteenth-century. The map alludes to the grave of Robin Hood and a vast treasure . . . riches from the Crusades that could save the destroyed museum. But when the treasure map falls into the hands of an old hag who might be the immortal Sheriff of Nottingham, Maddie and her brothers must race across England to reach the treasure first. Maddie Jones is an edgy Nancy Drew meets the Goonies with a voice like Percy Jackson.

Mark Douglas, Jr. finds inspiration in history and cranks it up to eleven. After graduating college, Mark went on to teach history to teenagers. However, many of Mark’s students hated reading, so he began reading aloud to them. Inspired, Mark embarked on his own storytelling journey. A decade later, he’s telling stories about the adventures of spunky teen heroine Maddie Jones. Mark was a semi-finalist on the reality TV show, America’s Next Great Author. Curse of the Terracotta Warriors and Grave of Robin Hood are both published by Sky City Press.
