Adventures in Nature

Local performer Miss Calliope is helping us kick off the summer with an interactive singalong show “From the Soil to the Stars”! We will also have games and activities available throughout the week, including a rubber duck scavenger hunt.

Miss Calliope:
“From the Soil to the Stars” is based on a set of original tunes that were written in collaboration with elementary school educators. In addition to addressing Earth Science and Character Development learning standards the show engages audience members in song and dance, showing them that they are part of the natural world! My greatest hope is for families in attendance to receive a renewed sense of “Adventure,” compassion for their neighbor & the desire to participate in Earth stewardship.
