Program will be released on your library’s Facebook page as well as YouTube Channel

Will Eisner Week, March 1 – 7, 2021

Will Eisner was a comics pioneer, best-known for his superhero character The Spirit. During World War II, and for several decades after the war, Eisner also wrote and drew comics which taught soldiers how to properly load trucks, do an engine tune-up, tighten bolts properly, maintain tires, and a lot more.

Our program for Will Eisner Week will feature Mr. Eisner’s connections to STEM in comics. Program taught by Graphic Novel expert, Kat Kan.

The Bay County Public Library will also provide a Take-and-Make STEM project suitable for most ages during Will Eisner Week.
